Alissa writes, "Hello Outblush! I love your blog and was inspired to write when I sat at my computer wondering...What do you wear to a rehearsal dinner at a bbq dance hall? I know for sure that I want to wear a pair of cowboy boots and a cute dress, but after that my vision is somewhat of a blank canvas.
I am a petite and would like to keep the dress less than $100. The dress is for a rehearsal dinner at The Swinging Door - a BBQ Restaurant and dance hall. 4. I am looking for a cute dress to go with the below cowboy boots. The event is the first weekend in March in Houston, Texas, so whether should be fairly mild (55 to 74 degrees).
These are the boots I would like to wear...I want to look cute, but not like a country bumpkin - so I would preferrably like to stay away from anything that looks like a tablecloth. Also, I am pretty fair and have blonde hair and blue eyes, so anything to complement my skin tone would be great!"
Howdy, Robin here. This sounds like a great time! I highly recommend a dress with a fuller skirt for twirlin' and two-steppin'. Enjoy!
