Personal Shopper: Cute Size 12 Shoes for Laura's Pal AND Lauren O

Laura S. wrote, "Hey Team Outblush, I saw your round-up feature of Size 5 shoes and I'm wondering if you could do one for larger sizes. My best friend has an extremely hard time finding women's shoes, she wears a size 12 and can never find anything besides sneakers. If you could help her out, that would be awesome. Thanks!"

And, THEN, Lauren O. wrote, "Hi! I have the half-opposite problem of the girl you helped out today! My feet are great big ones--I usually wear a men's 11, but the ONE pair of women's shoes I own is a 12W--and I very, very rarely can find women's shoes in my size. Most stores don't carry larger shoes, even plus size stores, and the ones that do fit are either 1. nowhere near the size they claim to be, or 2. absolutely awful. (I resigned myself to a lifetime of sneakers long ago.) But, I'm coming up on my last year of grad school and I realize I'm going to need to dress like a grown up adult lady very soon, and how ridiculous will my suits be with a pair of flip flops? I know other women must have this problem and have probably found solutions, but for me, frustration sets in almost immediately. I would kill for a pair of cute pumps or nice boots! Please send help! Lauren"

Pro tip: if you have a Nordstrom Rack near you, they often have a pretty good selection of fancy larger size shoes- and at a discount! My mother and I both have pretty big feet, and we rarely buy shoes anywhere else.

I cannot recommend BarefootTess.com enough! They carry shoes from 9-15!

I wear a pretty consistent 11, but sometimes a 10 or 12, and I even got my wedding shoes from them!

They also have sales going on ALL the damn time. So sign up for their newsletter. (I get emails for sales, normally, twice a week.)
