So here's the deal. I'm pregnant but like in denial. Yeah I'm like 7 months too. I know I had plenty of time to let this sink in. But I'm still buying regular non maternity clothes. I got this dress for my shower. It's an outdoor co-ed fall BBQ. The tricky part is shoes and accessories. I'm pregnant so the shoes have to be comfortable and ideally flats since I'll be in grass. I'm open to a boot type shoe, ballet flat, moccasin, whatever. But just something that looks awesome-like. Then I need jewels/accessories, etc. Please make me look fashionable and awesome. So much that people forget I'm pregnant. Maybe. Hearts and stars, Amanda
Mmmm - at 7 months I don't know if any magical combination of accessories would make people not notice you were pregnant. Well maybe if you wore this little number . But as giant feather headdresses are expensive and cause neck pain, I don't think that option is practical for a BBQ baby shower. Forgoing the burlesque feather crown route I came up with four looks, all under $150. Each one has something fun and funky that will inspire people to compliment your fab sense of style instead of the lovely roundness of the mamma belly. And many of the individual pieces can be intermixed to create yet another style. I'm sure you'll look radiant whether you're opening fruffy packages or inhaling yummy pulled pork! Also - Love your blog! Ponies & Cupcakes, Trajano.
