Billie Jo wrote, "I will be attending a wedding in October just as a guest and would really prefer to wear pants instead of a dress. I don't typically wear dresses and am not excited about storing another one-time-use dress in my closet. Is there any way to pull off pants for a wedding?"
Billie Jo, Janetor here, and you're a woman after my own heart: I'm not much for wearing skirts & dresses, and I applaud you for thinking outside the wedding guest apparel box! The trick is to pair dressy pants in a soft shade, like gray, white, or tan, with a super-feminine blouse in silk or chiffon. Add some cute heels (the friller, the better) and jewelry, and you'll look just as girly as all the ladies in dresses they blew too much money on and will only wear once. Here are a few suggestions - hope you like them!
1 - Theory Max C Tailor Pants ($245)
2 - Banana Republic Martin Fit Skinny Pant ($90)
