Katy begged, "I am in dire need of your assistance! My best friend is getting married in two weeks and I have yet to get her a wedding gift. I am her maid of honor and I just can't seem to find the right gift. The major snag is my budget, I am still in school and can't afford the pricey items. Her style is very conservative/classic, black and white, not anything drastic. Mine is a little more funky so I want to get her something fun but still have it be something she will appreciate and use for years to come. Please help!"
Mazel tov to the bride, Katy, and props to you for being such a good friend! We've picked out some possible gifts that she will love, but won't bankrupt you.
1 - Venetian-Style Champagne Flutes ($69) - These six differently patterned champagne flutes are elegant, but unique & fun.
2 - Personalized Soaps ($30 for set of 3, $45 for set of 6) - These lightly scented, triple-milled soaps can be engraved with her new married name for a touch of class in their guest bathroom.
3 - Williams Sonoma Large Mother-of-Pearl Tray ($98) - Perfect for parties, or to hold her makeup & jewelry on a dresser, it's classy and a little bohemian all at the same time.
4 - West Avenue Jewels Initial Cutout Pendant Necklace ($110) - Choose from gold or silver fill, and have this pendant engraved with her new initials. She'll wear it for years.
5 - Vintage Pressed Glass Plates ($59 for set of 2 in pink, clear, or green) - No two of these antique plates are alike, and they'll be lovely accent pieces in her china cabinet, or as a jewelry catchall, or even mounted on a wall in her kitchen.
6 - Beehive Beverage Jar ($50) - The beehive shape is funky, but interpreted in a conservative, elegant style that will pair equally well with casual outdoor entertaining or formal holiday get-togethers.
