Jenna writes: "Hi Outblushers! I visit your site daily and it has come down to a moment I need your help. I am a bridesmaid for my brother's wedding and the bride has a special request. She came across a picture on pinterest, of bridesmaids wearing unique gowns and cant get it out of her head. She absolutely loves the idea of everyone picking out something that is flattering and that they actually want to buy. Therefore, instead of her picking bridesmaid dresses, she has asked us to pick out our own dress. We have two rules 1. Must be long AND 2. Mint/ Seafoam colored, (if there is white, gold, or rose pink mixed in, even better). The majority of the bridesmaids will be flying out of state for the wedding and she is so appreciative of them making the expensive trip down for the big day, therefore she is all for a good deal! Would you ladies please help find a few options for us maids!! THANK YOU xo"
Yay for variation! My best friend got married over the summer and had all of us bridesmaids in different dresses with the same accessories (which I would also recommend). The overall result looked awesome in photographs and not a single person said "Oh, hm. Your dresses don't seem to be identical. Wedding ruined!" So I'm all for this different dress desire that your bridal buddy has expressed!

Magzilla here: When I'm not busy eating my way to the bottom of a ginger candy bag, I'm tweezing my eyebrows. I prefer the hard core body modification scene but can also appreciate a ruffle or bow when I see one. Beauty and barrels of maternity/kid crap are my specialties. When you need help finding the right shade of eyeliner to match that new shade of "I haven't slept in days" tint your skin gets after a baby or four, call on me. Loudly.
