Abby writes, "Outblush please help! I am trying to update my kitchen on the cheap but this is proving far more difficult than I had expected due to the monstrosity hanging from my ceiling claiming to be a ceiling fan. Unlike the other moderately outdated fans in the house, a quick coat of spray paint will do nothing to hide the fact that the focal point of my kitchen is a brass nightmare. Current blight. Ideal.
I am totally unwilling to spend the necessary ducats to put my dream fan into an apartment that I will one day move out of. I need help finding a modern ceiling fan with clean simple lines, and light birch or ash blades for under $100. I'm beginning to think this is impossible - please prove me wrong!"
Well Abby, you might have been right. Finding a sweet ceiling fan in the same vein as the Artemis was damn near impossible. Sadly it seems that designers are just unwilling to help us out in the area of cheap air circulation. We've rounded up a few options that are modern, cheaper than the $600-1200 Minka Aire option, and definitely more attractive than your current eyesore. Plus, we think you should enjoy it while you're there and then take it with you!
If any Outblush readers have a line on an option closer to Abby's wishes - please help a lady out!
