Court Yard Hounds
You might recognize Martie Maguire and Emily Robison as 'those two quiet girls from the Dixie Chicks', but after a listen to Court Yard Hounds ($8) the duo's debut album, you'll know them as the new upcoming darlings of country music. The self-titled album is mostly sweet crooning songs that are heavily bluegrass, and noteworthy tracks include See You In the Spring, a duet between Robison and Jakob Dylan (swoon) and Ain't No Son, which starts out with some simple pickin' and becomes a rock-driven ballad.
