We all need to go to kids' movies once in awhile, IOHO, so give in to your inner child and take yourself to see Ponyo, ($ticket prices vary by venue) in theaters now. Another masterpiece from famed Japanese director Hayao Miyazaki, it's a visual feast for the eyes and a sweet reminder that being loved for who you truly are is the greatest gift of all. We spent the entirety of the movie either open-mouthed at the incredible underseas animation, perking our ears at the stunning soundtrack, or giggling at the silliness & bravery of Ponyo, the goldfish princess, and Sosuke, the five year old with a heart of gold. It's a take on the classic Hans Christian Anderson tale of The Little Mermaid. The U.S. cast of this originally Japanese-language film includes Liam Neeson, Betty White, Matt Damon, and Tina Fey.
