Giving a Swiss Army knife to a little kid sounds like something you'd hear about an idiot parent doing on the six o'clock news. Now you can be that parent, minus the idiocy (and probably the fame, sorry). This kids' Swiss Army knife ($8) is designed and sanctioned by Victorinox , so it's the real deal - just filled with plastic utensils as opposed to anything a child would actually want to play with your child can use.

Honestly, when I was a kid I was camping with Girl Guides (the Girl Scouts of Canada) and I had a Swiss Army Knife. As long as you teach children how to use it responsibly, it shouldn't be a problem. And besides, I still have all my fingers!
