Doubtblush: Stinkin' Cute Skunk Adult Costume
You may have noticed that we're hardly perpetual rays of sunshine around here, but even so, we seem to spend a lot of our time enthusing about one gewgaw or another. Doubtblush exists to make it clear that we do not, in fact, like everything.
We get that Halloween is now apparently the holiday of "pick absolutely anything in the universe, and dress as the skanky version of it." But this Stinkin' Cute Skunk Adult Costume ($67) is one step too far. Dressing up as a slutty animal of any type is frankly creepy (Seriously, who has sexy cow fantasies?), but picking one that smells like a trash compactor?

Unless it's a foxy fox, in which case this it works quite well. There's a fox costume, same manufacturer, same cut, different coloring. That is in of the few animals that I would cinsider fair.

ooh but i love that zipper that zips all the way down the front. I think that was the basis for the skunk inspiration. No better way to accent the zipper than with a stripe running down. No other animal has that kind of stripe, though.
