We'd had some serious sinus issues this past year between the allergies and the beastly colds we've been catching. A week ago we were standing in the cold medicine aisle of target when we struck up a conversation with a neti pot believer (Yes we're the kind of people who talk to strangers in the medicine aisle. We also noticed anyone who uses a neti pot is a believer. Coincidence?). She said the Himalayan Institute Neti Pot ($11) has been her best defense against sinus and allergy problems sans medicine. After blowing our nose for the hundredth time in the last few days we're going to order one stat! We can't wait to not sound like a stuffed up 7 year old anymore.

I'm also an ardent Neti pot believer and this neti pot is the best! For allergy sufferers the Himalayan Institute also makes a Neti wash additive (http://shop.himalayaninstitute.org/products/neti-wash-plus-daily-boost) that really soothes the sinuses. Plus I love to support them because they do such great humanitarian work all across the world. <3 Hi Inst!

I too am a firm Neti pot user. I tried it first after Dr. Oz recommended it. My nose 'runs' often; I clean it before bed and again in the morning. Guess it is genetic. When I use the neti pot it cuts down on this, I feel like I can breathe better, and it also helps with sinus congestion prevention (if you already are congested, it doesn't work as well in my opinion). I use it once/week during summer and 2-3 times week during winter and allergy season. Will always use it.
