Samsung BD-P4600 Blu-ray Player
It’s 2009 and we’re still not living the space-age future envisioned in 2001: A Space Odyssey (just say you saw it - nod, nod, wink, wink), but the new Samsung BD-P4600 Blu-ray player ($499) literally looks like it came from outer space. Or at least MoMA. In addition to playing high-definition Blu-ray discs, the BD-4600 boasts some futuristic amenities: it can stream movies from your Netflix account or even music from Pandora. It can also hang on the living room wall and double as conceptual art. Far out.
