Designer Duct Tape
Props to you if you actually have the skills/tools to fix everything around your house. But, if you're like the rest of us and go for the quick-fix options until you can a) afford a new one or b) figure out how to fix it properly, you may be interested to know about Designer Duct Tape ($10). It's available in wood paneling or basket weave patterns; maybe you could even craft a passable patch for your coffee table with a broken leg. (Doubtful, but worth a shot, we guess.)
