Do it yourself studded sneakers
Studs are BIG this season, metallic studs that is, and we're totally freaking over these Kettle Black Converse ($550). Then we thought, hey, we can do that, check it!
How to stud yo' feet:
You'll need a pair of shoes, studs, a regular hammer, and a flat surface to hammer on.
You can purchase studs online at Studs and Spikes, or even Urban Outfitters is selling them these days.
Start at the bottom of your shoe, next to the sole and push the stud through the fabric.
Turn shoe over and hammer down the sharp edges to lay flat against the inside fabric of your shoe.
Repeat-repeat-repeat.
Your hand might start hurting so you'll want to go slow and take breaks or try using a Professional Stud Setter ( it's kind of reminiscent of the Bedazzler, no?)
Once you're finished, enjoy your awesome $550 shoes at a fraction of the cost. Sweet!
