Does the idea of unexpected flavors in chocolate set your taste buds a-tingling? Then you need to try anything that Anita K. Stackhouse, of Gourmet Chocolatier, makes. Her signature Blueberry Zing chocolate contains blueberries, cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, and a subtle hint of jalapeno for a spicy, unexpected finish, and we were, well, nuts about her Nuts about Beer, which featured Chimay Ale & spicy peanuts. Yu-um. Other standouts include Dark Passion (passion fruit & dark chocolate) and the seasonal favorite Pumpkin Pie, a velvety coating of white chocolate enrobing a nugget of pumpkin pie filling. Contact her directly to order online - but we can assure you it's worth it.

I tried the Gourmet Chocolatier ordering a box as a birthday gift for a friend and one for myself. You can definitely tell they are handmade. When I took a bite of one piece it transported me back to my childhood in Germany - I hadn't had chocolate that good in a long time!

Anita's chocolates are all amazing, and she even remembers her customers' favorites! My kids love the chocolate covered cherries; my favorite is passion fruit. So unique! You just can't get these chocolates anywhere else!

Anita made these amazing white chocolate and dark chocolate flip flops for my Hawaiian wedding and the guests went crazy over them. Not only did they look awesome but they tasted fabulous. I used the leftovers to send with thank you notes. I think most people threw away the note and just ate the chocolate :). Anita is amazing and very talented.

Anita is definitely "The Chocolate Whisperer". She creates amazing harmony between chocolate and spices. Each bite is a tango on your tongue! Gourmet Chocolatier is my favorite gift to give to my friends and they love getting that golden box of goodness. These chocolates are out of this world.
