Usually, we hear the phrase "healthy cookies," and think, "Um, yeah, and four cheese pizza is healthy, too! Pshaw, riiiiight." But then the folks at Goji Gourmet (from $3.25 per bag) sent us some of their Goji Gourmet Cookies, and we changed our tune to, "Healthy cookies? Mmmmm, pass 'em over!" Chockablock full of nutrient-packed superfoods like goji berries (duh), whole wheat, buckwheat honey, cacao, oats, almonds, and ginger, these nibble-sized cookies are packed with flavor and nutrition. They're handmade, with no preservatives and all-natural ingredients, and the nutrition stats are pretty impressive: per cookie, you get 25 calories, .5 grams protein, and .5 grams of fiber. Nice! There are five flavors: goji almond oat, goji cherry cacao, goji ginger walnut, goji orange mint-chip, and goji chocolate chip. We liked the goji ginger walnut and goji chocolate chip best, but encourage you to pick up a five-pack flavor box for $23.50 to try 'em all yourself.
