Celebrate: Pecan Pie Caramel Bars
We love to seize the opportunity to celebrate each and every day - after all, the daily grind can be, well, a grind. We're learning that there are many holidays out there that may not have reached "Hallmark" calendar status, but they still count and deserve to be recognized. Preferably with wine. With that being said, we bring to you this very special day (cue "The More You Know" theme song).
As you may already know, we all have quite the sweet tooth around here...so we hardly need an excuse to indulge. Today though we celebrate National Pie Day. Hmm....we love 'em all - apple pie, pumpkin pie, cherry pie, strawberry rhubarb pie, but we wanted to find something other than your basic pie. After much searching, we stumbled upon the Pecan Pie Caramel Bars, which incorporate the sinfully sweet pecan pie taste into a good ol' fashioned caramel candy bar.
