Chocolate isn't necessarily the star ingredient of Amella Cocoa Butter Caramels ($15-60) but we think they finish off these unique confections perfectly. The caramels are light and soft thanks to the inclusion of cocoa butter along with regular butter, with a creamy texture that lets the individual ingredients' flavors shine. They're available in Black Forest, Passion Fruit, & Carrot Cake. Our favorite was the Carrot Cake, which tastes like the child of caramel frosting and the densest, richest carrot cake you've ever had, studded with flecks of carrot and roasted pecan.
