We know you've been seeing those previews for the movie The Help, but have you read the book that inspired it? Set during the civil rights movement, Kathryn Stockett's The Help ($9) follows the lives of black maids and the (more often than not) crazy-arse white ladies they work for. Make sure you have a comfortable couch, you dress in sweats, and you've stocked up the snacks, cause you will not want to put this book down until your eyes read that last word!
