We'll admit it. We jumped on the food photography bandwagon. What can we say? We're proud of our creations and can't wait to show them off. But uh, our photographing skills are amateur at best and we needed a little help learning the tricks of the trade. Enter Plate to Pixel: Digital Food Photography & Styling ($16) by Helene Dujardin. Helene writes an awesomely organized guide to getting food styling just right. But she ain't no fancy shmancy technical writer--she learned from trial and error in her own house and encourages readers to do the same with simple techniques, easy to understand explanations, and plenty of detail. We can't wait to show the world that our food is almost too good lookin to eat!
