So we'll admit that we're not always reading the latest on Oprah's Book Club, or challenging ourselves with a little thought-provoking non-fiction. We grab for a bit of fluffy chick-lit here and there to mix it up. We are "chicks" after all, and sometimes a juicy tale of love, lust, and/or sex is just what the doctor ordered. Recently, we curled up with some pinot and Shallon Lester's collection of essays, Exes and Ohs: A Downtown Girl's (Mostly Awkward) Tales of Love, Lust, Revenge, and a Little Facebook Stalking ($11). It hit the spot with plenty of sordid tales involving embarrassing "love connections," lots of NYC name dropping, and bacon stealing!
