The thing about travel is that it's addictive. One moment you're working away and the next you're lost in a daydream about hiking Machu Picchu or strolling the rain-dampened streets of Paris with a handsome stranger on your arm. The only way to cope is to grab your passport and succumb (which only fuels the fire). Then suddenly you've quit your job and you're staying in hostels and sketchy hotels until you run out of money. We know we can't run away from reality, mostly because we can't afford it, so we drown ourselves in the amazing travel articles we find in AFAR Magazine ($20 per annual subscription). You'd better believe we have a stack of clippings detailing exactly where we want to go. We're gonna need a very rich sugar daddy who doesn't mind us wandering off for weeks.
