Louis XVI Ghost Chair
Though we take issue with the silly use of "ghost" to describe this armchair (much in the same way invisible bra straps are never invisible so why do we even pretend like they are?), this is a pretty cool piece. Designed by high end maestro Philippe Starck as an homage to the Louis XVI chair, this Ghost Chair ($410) version was constructed with polycarbonate using a single mold. So even though no one will think you're floating in space while sitting on this sort of transparent chair, we think it adds high style to both modern and classic settings.
