Illustrious architect, designer and image consultant, Alessandro Mendini may have outdone himself with his Proust Geometrica Chair ($Inquire). The man behind Milan's Atelier Mendini sure has a way of making mad-hatter-esque chaos coherent. This colorful explosion of disparate styles is an overwhelming aesthetic experience, colliding flouncy French furniture design with modernist color blocking. We feel a sensory overload coming on.

This was the UK's Big Brother 'diary room' chair this year!

Really!? It sure would get some confessions out of me... I feel like that wacky crazy pattern is a truth serum in itself. I wonder what chair the producers that provoke "diary entries" get to sit in (It can't be nearly as cool if it's not on camera.).

I haven’t seen anything quite like this Mendini's chair.
Some of Conran's Armchairs looks similar to this
He also combine classic forms and pop colors.
