Design Your Own Birdhouse
Our twelve-year-old niece is coming to visit this weekend and we're working on ideas for ways to entertain her. We thought she might like to come with us to some of our favorite hangouts, but then we realized that a lot of those are bars. So instead we're going to spend a day doing some various crafty activities, and since our artistic skills are pretty much nil, we're employing the help of this cool Design Your Own Birdhouse kit ($38). After she paints it, we're going to hang it and do some bird-watching and practice our nature photography. All her other aunts will just have to settle for NOT being favorite.
