Have you ever met someone who loves trivets? We hadn't either, until recently. We've now made the acquaintance of a woman who collects them - large, small, glass, pewter - any trivet appeals to her. We're not saying we've been shamed into purchasing trivets to protect our delicate surfaces, but we've certainly been looking at them more closely.
