Often times we steer clear of recipes that require too much cutting and slicing - one too many trips to the ER will do that. The Chef'n BeanSlice ($7) takes the excuses out of green bean casseroles or haricort verts for us. Easy to use, this slicer allows you to easily slide and slice French green beans without knives. It features a built-in bean nipper and stainless steel blades. If only the rest of the cooking were this easy.
