We're about to unveil a level of lavishness previously unknown to an Outblush Guest Post... Please give a round of applause for Jennifer Hallsey of Lee Ohio Designs, an opulent jewelry company we've had our eye on for some time. She plays up "dramatic colors and exquisite textures" in her Gulf Coast studio and shows it off in the Lee Ohio Designs Blog. Focusing on "romantic themes, fine gemstones and antique details," how could we not be seduced by the hard work of this this fancy lady?
It was love at first sight: the Mara suede peep-toe wedges from J. Crew ($198, in e colors). I just had to have them this past Autumn. I hit the size scroll bar - 7 - and gasp! They were sold out in my size for the color of my choice: the perfectly beige-gray (greige) "cobblestone." The suede, matte black was perfectly adequate and the soft, dust rose I was keen on as well, but I had my heart set on that perfect neutral. I was so afraid that this pair would be a fleeting, seasonal set like so many of the other lovely J. Crew creations out there. But J. Crew must have gotten the message and it is now a staple on the site.
You must be wondering why I'm still talking about an Autumn design. Well, these shoes are perfect in every way. The shoe is truly a peep-toe and doesn't shoe an offensive amount of foot. I love almost the nearly-3" wedge because it makes it comfortable for long days but you still get the height - and the best part? I swear I could jog in these babies!
