Hey everybody, meet Kevin, the brains behind the awesome Perfume Blog that's got oodles of reviews of all the latest and greatest fragrances and colognes. The blog alone will save you hours of sniffing and agonizing at perfume counters, but we wanted to bring you a special highlight from the scent guru himself. Enjoy!
We just found out that MAC is releasing a revitalized Asphalt Flower fragrance, which is a deep and dark fragrance as part of the Trend Fall/Winter '09 collection of MAC products. Available in a 6ml bottle, this Asphalt Flower ($20) incarnation is reminiscent of the 1999 version of the fragrance, featuring the same violet, vanilla and iris notes from the original but with vanilla, patchouli, ylang ylang, heliotrope and olibanum notes added. Asphalt Flower is described as being a dark and deep fragrance intended to complement the alt-fashion look of the Trend Fall/Winter MAC collection.
