It's definitely easier to live a healthy lifestyle in summer, no? Fresh, cheap produce abounds, it's grilling season, and friends are always inviting you on hikes, bike rides, trips to the beach, etc. But, with so many easily accessible healthy lifestyle options, sometimes we get a little lazy... After all, it's hot out there, and sometimes it's just easier to crank the A/C and sit on the couch drinking sangria from disposable plastic cups, eating nachos, and watching Real Housewives reruns. (Maybe that's just us?)
Our pals at Tervis, makers of the nigh-on indestructible tumblers & ice buckets that are so indispensable to summer alfresco dining, want to make sure the latter scenario doesn't happen. That's why they've teamed up with us to offer an amazing healthy lifestyles giveaway! You could win $99 worth of Tervis products, plus a $500 cash card to use towards whatever you like - new mountain bike? Pool floaties? Beach volleyball kit? A trip to Lake Tahoe?

Hydration! Hydration! Hydration! We've all been hit with the Heat Wave this summer, and while it is always important to look your best....give yourself a slight break and make sure you're still conscious to make yourself look your best. Stay cool and stay hydrated this summer!
Elizabeth
I have found a new way to enjoy a creamy sweet treat at night. Take Chobani fat free vanilla yogurt, 1 tbsp of mini chocolate chips and 1 tbsp of chocolate sauce, and there you have your own version of chocolate chip ice cream! So delicious.
Lisa
Don't overstress in the heat! It's super impt to drink plenty of water. I always carry a thermo with some cold lemonade in the summer :)
Steph
Shade! There's a big difference in the temp between in the shade and in direct sunlight...so whether it be a hat, umbrella, or the shade of a tree...I stay under it, but still enjoy the outdoors! Hopefully, my skin will thank me in 30 years.
Camille
Take your dog on a walk in the evenings! Great way to keep active and give you pooch a little exercise. Make sure to bring some water for both of you!
Wendy
Don't forget the sunscreen! It doesn't take long for the sun to damage skin, so apply, apply, and reapply!
sarah cool
Oooh! Farmer's Markets! Or, CSA delivery! I love my weekly produce delivery.
Naomi
if you must exercise outdoors, exercise super early in the morning or late at night. and of course, as everyone else is saying hydrate! and not just while you're excercising...drink lots of water throughout the day.
Ashley Beebe
Drink more water than you think you need every day! Those summer headaches are dehydration!
Stephanie
HAVE FUN! I get more exercise playing games and running around acting crazy with my 2 year old than any kind of exercise routine, and I love the quality time!
Tammy
Lots of water & sunscreen!! Thanx for the chance!! :D
Rebecca
Lots of fresh, local fruit and plenty of water or sun tea
Aimy
While watching Real Housewives reruns... I only allow myself to snack on fruit. The fruit in sangria does NOT count.
Krissy
WEAR SUNSCREEN! Be sure to lather up if you are planning a day outside. Doctors recommend wearing at least spf 15 or higher to protect your skin from sun damage!
natalie weeks
detox detox DETOX! I go completely raw each summer~ Fresh fruits and veg's metabolize calories and body fat~ throw in some peak hour sunshine for added vitamin d and lots of sweat =) You'll feel Amazing!
Molly
Find recipes that use little to no oven heat to keep the house cool. Lifesaver for me this summer!
Jen @ Caved In
I wash all of my produce as soon as I get home. That way it's ready when I need a snack.
Nocona Williams
Get your daily dose of vitamin D the natural way, but don't forget the SPF along the way!
Kristin
Sunscreen! I'm as fair skinned as they come, so keeping sunscreen on my skin every day is a must. Keeps my skin looking healthy all year long.
Connie Lutz
Keep exercising but do it early in the morning before the day heats up and increase the amount of water that you drink!
BethNicole
Relax!!! With our everyday busy schedules and the overwhelming summer heat exhaustion can set in fast and be detrimental to once health so, it's important to make time for yourself and remember to relax this summer.
Kasey
I am all about water! Try to get in as much as possible. Keeps you full, hydrates your skin, and decreases cellulite. Happy drinking : )
Brooks
Eat a healthy breakfast! Starts your day off right.
Jordan
Two words: farmer's market! By far the best way to get cheap, fresh produce! They are one of my favorite things about summer!
Jess
I love going swimming for exercise over the summer, because even though I'm working my body hard, I beat the heat by staying cool in the water. It feels like double gratification: instant and long-term! Definitely tops all other workouts for me in the hot weather. Of course I don't forget waterproof sunscreen and drinking lots of water to maintain my optimum workout :)
Brittany L
Buy local produce in season! Summer is such a wonderful time for eating fresh produce that is not only abundant in nutrients but also possesses taste that high-volume grocery stores can never deliver. Enjoy the experience of selecting and tasting fresh fruits and veggies from your local farmer's market or co-op and it's extremely easy to eat healthy during the summer months.
Kate
Planting a raised bed veggie garden this summer has been a healthy lifestyle lifesaver! Once I got past the waiting for the plants to grow it's an amazing treat to head out to the garden everyday to find a new veggie to pick. On top of that, I have been able to experiement with all sorts of new recipes that feature all of my garden delights!
Heather P.
My husband and I have been using our grill all the time this summer to grill veggies and chicken! Super healthy, quick, and delicious!
Whitney
Get outside! There is no better time than summer to get out and try new things, go for bike rides, play tennis, just go for a walk or swim. Make sure you have water and sunblock but spend the day outside enjoy the sunshine!
Heather P.
My husband and I have been using our grill all the time this summer to grill veggies and chicken! Super healthy, quick, and delicious!
Natalie D.
Lots of water! Great for you and keeps me full (and avoiding snacking)!
js
I've been getting into all of the fresca recipes I've seen on Simply Recipes this summer. Soooo yummy and soooo healthy!
Laura
Drink lots of water, enjoy juicy fresh fruit (watermelon is my favorite right now!) and get outside and enjoy the beautiful sunshine with a bike ride or an evening run!
Rachel
GIVE ME THAT SPF! As a Florida gal with a fair complexion (strange, I know!), I know just how important it is to apply sunscreen on a regular basis. For everyday, I wear a tinted moisturizer with SPF 15. On beach days, I always bring a bottle of sunscreen with at least SPF 30. Some of my friends may make fun of my SPF 50 bottles, but I'll be the one laughing when we're old and I look 20 years younger than them!
And if you need any encouragement to shield your skin, just look at Will Ferrell!: http://www.glamourvanity.com/images/will-ferrell-funny.jpg
L.M.G.
Plant a garden full of plants that bear veggies overtime - like snow peas, zuchinni, tomatoes and green peppers. Great crunchy anytime-snack but will also challenge you to come up with new ways to prepare your harvest!
Gayle P
My favorite summer tip is to drink lots of water and to make that more interesting, add a slice of lime! lemons are overrated :)
Jenna
Enjoy outdoor activites as much as possible: talking long walks, riding bikes, playing catch. Always make sure to drink plenty of water and use sunscreen =) I love summertime!
Mando
There is nothing more energizing than summer in Seattle. We are known for our cloudy skies, snarky attitudes and PC monitor tans; but when the rest of the country is finding solace in air conditioners, Seattleites take the welcome break from the “liquid sunshine” to soak in some natural vitamin D that we have all been diagnosed as deficient of. We take the time to actually talk to our neighbors, fellow coffee shop patrons, and even tourists at the Pike Place Market. So while my healthy lifestyle tip is a no brainer, I think it’s easy to forget – GET OUT! SPF it up, carry your water bottle, put on some flip flops and get out to the parks, the farmer’s markets and the block parties. You don’t like tourists? Well, you can’t beat ‘em, so join them! Those laugh lines and wrinkles from sun exposure (and I don’t mean skin cancer) are a vestige of our youth. Don’t take the summer sun for granted, folks. I know Seattle doesn’t (even if we’ve only gotten 78 minutes of summer so far).
Liz
Night swimming! Great exercise and a great way to cool off after a long hot day. Adults only though.
Caitlin
The most important healthy summer tip is HAVE FUN! Nothing is better for the soul then laughing, playing, and having a goooooood time!
Alexandra
Like everyone else, I agree that sunscreen is key for living a healthy summer lifestyle (check out this very powerful video re: Melanoma from the DCMF titled "Dear 16 Year Old Me" http://dcmf.ca/) - BUT I want to take it a step farther and recommend that in addition to your "standard SPF routine" you start including your scalp!! As a female who loves to get some Vitamin D, I realized that all too often my scalp would go unprotected (and burn badly) because I wouldn't want to "mess up my hair and get it all greasy with sunscreen." So - I did some research and have started buying products that are meant to protect your scalp like this one: http://www.amazon.com/HeadBlade-Oil-Free-HeadShade-Sunscreen-4-Ounce/dp/B000ARUDAA ... that is what I would say to my 16 yo self :)
Sara Michelle
Summer smoothies are the best! Use real fruit, skim milk, vanilla and Splenda and you have a low-cal tasty drink!

Go swimming!! I'm hugely pregnant in 100+ degree heat, and find my refuge in the pool. Throw on some sunscreen, grab a towel and a bottle of water, ENJOY!
Courtney
Drink lots of water. The body absorbs room temperature water most efficiently, though ice cold water is always tastier!
Eat lots of fruit so you don't lose any nutrients from being out in the heat. Also, the water content in fruits like watermelon or cantaloupe will also keep you hydrated.
Kim
The summer heat makes it hard to exercise outside. Try an early morning workout to avoid the day's peak temperatures. Plus it's a great start to the day!
Cat
Grab a friend and go to a u pick 'em berry farm. Enjoy the fruits of someone elses labor as well as the trip made to get there. Enjoy the company of friend/s. Enjoy the variety of delicious treats that can be eaten on site, preserved for later, or made directly into whatever smoothie, pie, cobbler or jam you can come up with. A sure summertime treat! Fun, creative, and healthy for body and mind!
Rebecca H
If it's as hot as it is here - leave your credit card at home and take a walk through the mall. Exercise, shade and no temptation :)
KimC
Grilling fresh, delicious meals and lots and lots of bike riding!
Rin
Lots of green tea and fruits for a dose of antioxidants.
Jessica
Sunscreen, sunscreen, sunscreen! Skin cancer is on the rise and I can't think of anything more important to truly beat the heat in the summertime.
Mimi
Eat TONS of fruit and veggies. Raw if you can!
Kristi
Lots of smoothies made of fresh fruit and veggies!! And of course, oodles of sunscreen!!
Jennifer
Skip the foundation and instead use BB cream. It's an Asian skin cream that has enough tint to replace foundation, but is also loaded with vitamins, SPF, and other stuff that's great for your skin. Feels much nicer than a face full of spackle!
Beverly
I'm all about hydration - water, water, water. Obviously this is a good tip all year round, but in the summer, the most important thing I do to stay healthy.
Jacqui ghawi
I carry around my Tervis tumble with decaf iced tea wherever I go!!
Katie
I have picked up Pilates- and absolutely love it. It calms my mind and strengthens my mind. I also try to do less lounging and more swimming at the pool!
Brittany
What better tip than HYDRATION? It helps with everything especially during the summer. I brought my Tervis tumbler to the office and now everyone in my group has one!
Danielle
i enjoy creating fun summer time cocktails with soda water and splashes of juices for colorful sipping by the pool side!
Danielle
i enjoy creating fun summer time cocktails in my tervis glass with soda water and splashes of juices for colorful sipping by the pool side!
Leslie
Always have cut-up fruit ready for snacks.
Marisa
In order to keep up with an active lifestyle, I keep hydrated and healthy. I like to drink ice cold water throughout the day. Also, I like to blend all fruit smoothies or even a tomato based drink (to help prevent sun damage) myself instead of going out to a local spot. And even though it is blistering hot, I still like to keep up my regimen of daily hot green tea.
But while I work toward keeping my body healthy, I think it is super important to keep my mind healthy as well. I do this by keeping my summer as stress-free as possible by having people over poolside or relishing the summer styles (even if I end up sweating through it!).
Lisa
WATER, WATER everywhere!
Swim as much as possible. It's great exercise. If you are in a beach location---run barefoot on the beach or at least walk to get that great rear/calf workout!
Drink water! Estimates vary on the actual amount needed but suffice it to say Americans in general don't get enough. (waiting for your frozen dacquiri to melt doesn't count either!)
Eat water laden fruits and vegetables.....watermelon, grapes, tomatoes, zuchinni, etc. Enjoy it while it's FRESH!
Angi
Eat as much fresh produce as possible and get outside and do something active with the kids!
Angelique
Sunscreen. And buy those little single-use packets so you can carry them around.
Mamavalveeta03
You don't have to knock yourself out in spinning class or run to get healthy! Take a brisk walk with your significant other or a friend and catch up with each other while getting healthy at the same time!
Evil Charity
Snack on fruit! Put away the potato chips and the pretzels and snack on the great fruit available at the farmers market this season. And, wear sunscreen every day. Every. Single. One!
Sarah
Walking to work instead of taking the subway!! Or walking home from a fabulous nycrestaurant week dinner instead of taking the subway :)
Elle Sees
Stay hydrated....you need more water than you normally drink in the summer months.
Alison Elizabeth
Smoothie Popsicles! Blend up your favorite smoothie and then stick it in a popsicle mold to make delicious, healthy treats!
Kaitlin D.
A good way to enjoy a ice tea without too many calories is to make your own ice cubes with lemon water and add a strawberry or raspberry in each cube. It looks great and adds awesome flavor!

I always start hydrating the day BEFORE i do anything that would be a lot of work outdoors. I also like to freeze grapes for a healthy cooling afternoon snack.
Sarah T.
A healthy summer lifestyle should include plenty of water, sunscreen, a daily dose of those summer fruits and veggies, and time spent being active with family and friends.

I love to keep lemons and limes pre-cut in the fridge. Then I fill up my tervis tumbler with ice, water and the beautiful fruit. Makes water more of a treat!
Kelly
Protect yourself from the summer heat/sun.... blueberries are healthy for your skin, stay hydrated with lots of water, and sunscreen to protect you from those rays!
Stephanie
Make a 1/2 sugar and 1/2 honey scrub to exfoliate and get great looking skin.
ethelas
It's a fine balance between the treadmill and lounging like a vegetable at a nice beach for me!
Durinda
More water, less sugar. Sugar just weighs you down and water keeps you going.
Karen Garber
I work out hard all year long, but in the summer I try to get my cardio outside. I wear tons of sunscreen, moisturize, moisturize, moisturize after showering, drink plenty of water and make sure I have a great pedicure for all my super cute sandals!
megan
There's so much fresh fruit available in the summer I enjoy it in a smoothie for breakfast and also as an after dinner dessert.
Tina J
Remember the sunscreen and stay hydrated! Drink a lot of water and eat fresh fruits and vegetables regularly!
bex
I'm not a huge fan of plain water but I know it's important to drink lots of it during the days. My little tip is to throw in some fruit with it! I even freeze smashed up strawberries, blueberries, kiwi, and other fruits into ice cube trays and throw them into some club soda for a sparkling and refreshing drink that still hydrates you with a bit of pizazz! :)
Susan
The top healthy tips for summer (and always!!) include wearing sunscreen and drinking lots of fluids!
Sara
Keep filled water bottles in the fridge, carry one with you when you go out, fill the one you're drinking from when it's still half full. It's been in the 100s this week and you can't open the door without sweating-- remembering to drink water is easier when you've already got it right there.
Mallory
Keep track of yourself! Eat right, eat often, drink those lovely liquids and finds ways to cool off!
kathryn
Loving myself for who I am, no matter what. That, and drinking plenty of green tea. :)
Meg
Since I'm not a morning person I walk at night, with my workout buddy, my mom. We race up the hills to keep, she's great motivation! And then enjoy refreshing watermelon to rehydrate.
Heather
Sunscreen!
Susan
Water gets so boring after awhile, so here's how I like to stay hydrated in the summer: add some fruit to your water. Cucumbers, lemons, limes, peaches, mangoes, pineapples, etc. So tasty! And you get to eat the fruit afterward. Mint and a little bit of lime works well too and tastes almost like a mojito.
Jessie
Find the time to do what you love in the summer months with your family and/or friends. For me, a day on the boat keeps me feeling rejuvenated and anchored (haaaa)Nothing better than spending some time in the sun (s.p.f., duh) with some refreshing drinks, delicious food, and amazing company to keep the mental health in check!
melissa
Yes, yes, yes, working out is key! But also integrate high protein and low carbs.. lots of yummy fruit, greens and veggies! And of course refreshing drinks (low sugar) and loads of h2o! The sun is great but keep from burning with some SPF! No one likes cancer. Keep a healthy diet and most importantly, love yourself.
olivia
take a nice bike ride and bring a bottle of water and a cutie! (and by cutie I mean a small orange for a snack, although a cute boy, or girl, is always a plus)
Violeta
take advantage of the season! longer days mean you can go for a walk, run, or bike ride easily before or after work. fresh produce means you can make delicious meals with more fruits and vegetables than usual. also, if you're lucky enough to live in a place where you can pick your own berries (or belong to a CSA), get extra while they're in season and can, jam, or freeze them for the winter! you'll save money AND they'll taste better. win win!
kristin
watermelon!!!
Deborah
I have been learning this summer just tracking what you eat & watching your portion sizes makes a lot of difference! and just getting out & being active is always good too!
Keenan
Stay hydrated!!!
Linda
Hydration and sunscreen!
Kate
At the beginning of each summer, my best friends and I buy weekly shares of vegetables from a local farm to be delivered every week. The constant stream of fresh produce is not only a great way to support local farms, it also means that there is no excuse to not have a diet filled with veggies! Sharing with friends lets you swap recipes that you have loved!
Allie Kay
My favorite way to stay healthy during the summer is taking advantage of the long days of summer. Get out and explore your neighborhood! Find a local park and take advantage of what they have to offer. This is not only a good way to reconnect with family and friends, it is also an amazing way to relieve the stress of life!
Angie O.
Not only are Tervis tumblers great for carrying our favorite summer drink, they make great fruit carriers also! I chop up watermelon and cantaloupe into bite size pieces, then add a handful of blueberries and pack in my 16 oz. Tervis tumbler for a quick, healthy, go anywhere snack! Love summer fruit!
Jenn B (from the block)
my tip for healthy summer lifestyle? STOP BREATHING IN THE AIR CONDITIONING! Go outside, work that sundress with no bra, go hiking, go biking, go to the farmers market, lay by the pool, strap that baby in her bjorn and GO. The air conditioning is contaminating your brain and quite possibly slowly turning you into a zombie. it doesn't matter what you do, stop complaining about the heat and go outside!
Laura K
In order to get enough exersize everyday, I like to get up very early to take a long walk with the dogs. Especially since we are having a heat wave in the midwest, it's important to remember the earlier the better!:}
Carleigh Damron
Summer in the Chicago area has been sweltering this year! I love to enjoy this season by starting off my day with a delicious iced latte. To cool off in the middle of the day I go for a swim with my boyfriend and friends! We take advantage of summer break by enjoying a few chilled, locally brewed beers! The evening is the best part by relaxing inside with the air-conditioning and a good movie! Summer in the Mid-west is the best!
DD
Wear sunscreen! You don't want to get skin cancer.
Hillary
Based on the rules and restrictions of this giveaway my hot summer tip for the blog is...DON'T BE CANADIAN!
*gets out picket sign for the Canadian contingent* ;-)
sarah beth
The best summer tip is to drink Arizona Arnold Palmer zeros. Those things are amazing, and good at keeping you hydrated. That and soak up some sun! It's good for you!
Sabrina DeRose
My best summer tip...get out, get fit, soak up that sunshine! I have an hour lunch break so I go out for an hour long walk. I have predetermined routes that I take and switch up day to day. I end up eating at my desk but it is so worth getting out and enjoying the outdoors, even if it is only for an hour.
Amanda
Since its so hot out, find fun ways to keep active. Sometimes while breaking a sweat, all can you think of is how hot you are! Change up your routine and do something out of the ordinary. Grab a buddy to stay motivated and as always, fill up your Tervis with plenty of water. ;) ....reaches for tervis... ahhh summer!
Melissa
My best tip is to cover up - whether is a good layer of sunscreen, a cute hat, upf wear, or all of the above. As someone who has already had suspicious moles removed, my goal is to limit the full-on sun exposure.
Dana
I love the look of wisteria hanging from Pergolas. Can't wait to build our patio, and lice my dream <3 Baby!
Iris
Freeze OJ in an ice cube tray, put some in a glass and add seltzer or diet 7-Up. Won't sweat a Tervis!
Christie
I always fill my large Tervis cup with ice and water whenever I leave the house to run errands & I carry extra water to fill up my cup. Also, I buy a pound of raw almonds and put about 20 in separate snack bags ready to go, so I can grab one on the go!
Kyle
Go for an early morning jog, before it gets too hot!
april
I live in Texas, so during the summer months I always keep ice cold water with me.
Cynthia A.
Lots of cold fresh fruit: plum, peaches, cherries, berries,
watermelon. yum.

Always stay hydrated during the day, and I like going for walks at night when it's a little bit cooler.

Lots of fresh salad greens! There's a Japanese peanut salad dressing recipe on allrecipes.com that will have you addicted to salads.
Jennifer
Find time for yourself each day. Whether it be 5 minutes locked in the bathroom away from your boss, kids, spouse, etc. Do something for yourself. It helps relieve stress and our stress levels directly affect our health.
MFA
Drink a glass of hot water right when you wake up to get rid of the toxins in your body and help you lose and maintain your weight. Then workout at home, shower, and put sunscreen after you shower and go about your day eating healthy foods :)
Karen
Join a CSA! - with fresh weekly veggie deliveries, it's hard to find an excuse not to go green (and leafy!) for dinner.
Lois
Frankly living in SoCal, where summer is an everyday thing, sunscreen and water are the best for keeping you happier and healthier.
Erin Williams
celery, green apples and peanut butter. go.
Erin Williams
And stay INSIDE! It's one-hundred-and-#&ç% degrees out!
Rachel G
Stay Hydrated! That's the number one best rule that anyone can give for hot temperatures. If you hate water, try it with cucumber slices or give sparkling mineral water a shot.
frances
We sign up for a local crop share delivery and don't make any adjustments. it's fun to try new produce and everything is so wonderful and fresh! Plus, it's all delivered so I don't even have to think about running to the store or local market to find things. The challange or figuring out what to do with some of the less familiar produce is always fun too :)
Amy
I like to run outside for exercise, and I've found that in the summer, it's best to put it off til the late evening-- the sun doesn't go down until well after 9, so I can go out at 8 or 8:30 and get a good run in without melting in the daytime sun.
Luciana
Water, water, water, water. Plus, try to cook at home at least 3x/week (mmm, grilled fish!). It's so easy to get sucked into those summer happy hours that last too-many hours!
Elissa
Stay hydrated! People forget when they are out in the sun all day that those yummy booze drinks do not count towards your daily water intake! Lots of water and sunscreen to prevent heatstroke and nasty burns. That's my not-very-succint motto.
Tracey
Water and sunblock are your BFFs in the summer. No matter where you go, or how long you'll be out, put on a UVA/UVB blocker of at least 30 SPF, especially on your face and hands. And plain old H2O all day will keep you cool and relaxed.
Rachel
Enjoy the opportunity to swim! I like to swim laps every day for exercise and stress relief.
I also drink tons of water! Everywhere I go, I have a glass/reusable bottle of water to sip on.
Liz
Water! With lemon, with ginger, all by itself. The more water I drink, the better I feel.
Katie M
Buy local and stay hydrated!
Jacy
Definitely plant a garden! It inspires you to start cooking fresh and healthy!

My healthy lifestyle tip to drink water.
Meghan Lawlor
Do fun activities that keep you active such as hiking, swimming, biking, canoeing, or walking. Drink a lot of water.
Deanna G.
My favorite healthy lifestyle tip for summer is to get out & enjoy the beautiful weather! Go for a run, walk, bike ride. As long as it's not too hot, of course. Summer is a great time to be active.
Anna
Getting a good night's sleep is one of the most important things I think you can do for your health. Often in the summer heat, I end up tossing and turning all night. So to help keep my house cool, I open my windows and run fans at night and during the day close everything down, and draw the shades. I also put my top sheet and pillow cases in the freezer during the day. This keeps me cool at night and helps me get my beauty rest!
JaneK
drink lots of H20, wear sunscreen and/or sunglasses and a straw hat to keep cool :) with a margarita
Emily
My husband and I are trying to eat more vegetables. We grew a few things in our garden and add a few more from farmer's markets. Great time of year to get away from processed foods. Thanks!
Alexandra Hurd

Everyone loves ice coffee or ice tea in the summer. But everyone forgets this dehydrates you. SO,
with every ice coffee or ice tea, drink a glass of water afterwards. This will keep you hydrated throughout the day!!
Lauren
SUNSCREEN! Everyone needs to protect their skin from the sun BUT they also need to protect their skin from the harsh chemicals of high SPF sunscreens. Make sure to pick a sunscreen thats right for your skin type and consult a dermatologist regularly. It's the largest organ on your body and protects all of you. Take care of it.
Linda
Fresh fruit is the best on hot summer days and nights. We have fruit stands on the side of the road with fresh peaches, watermelon, cantalope and ears of corn. We load up on the weekends. Wash the peaches, cube up the watermelon and cantalope and enjoy them all during the week!!
Adrienne
I like to go for a jog with my dog every morning. Before we leave I wash and slice strawberries and leave them in a glass of water in the fridge (it's really tasty, trust me). For my dog, I take a dixie cup and put in plain yogurt mixed with a bit of honey. When we get back, I have a refreshing, low calorie drink and my dog has a nice pupsicle!

For my dog, I take a dixie cup and put in plain yogurt mixed with a bit of honey. When we get back, I have a refreshing low calorie drink and my dog has a nice pupsicle!

My favorite healthy lifestyle tip is just to get outside! I like to go on hikes and reward myself at the top of the mountain with a healthy lunch, usually a turkey sandwich with some snacks like a kiwi, dried cherries, or celery and ranch!
