I have tried just about everything and the last product (name withheld) left me with while clumpy eyelashes no matter how fast I applied the mascara. Revitalash, Revitalash, Revitalash come save me....

My most favorite memories with makeup was when my older sisters were dolling me up for prom. Nothing makes one feel more 100% girl.

I've always been self-conscious about my cheekbones (or lack thereof) and I don't go anywhere without bronzer. Well, one day, I realized I was out of bronzer, so I figured cheap, brown eyeshadow would work just as well.

Let me tell you, it did not end well.

Evryone I saw throughout the day asked me how I got the huge brown bruises on my face. I was so embarassed by it all.:( Never again! lol

I thought I would be crying a lot at my wedding, so I made sure I put on waterproof mascara, this was in 1991 and mascara wasn't as great as it is now, especially waterproof! I took baby oil along on my honeymoon to be able to remove it at night. It didn't come off. 3 days of trying to get it off, no go! Well it was 4 days later that my mascara all melted down my face, midday in the muggy air of the hothouse we were touring. I had no idea until I saw my reflection in a window as we were leaving. Oh! So that was why everyone was looking at me like that. I thought it was just my new bride glow!

I remember first being able to wear makeup when I was at my grandmas one summer at the age of 10. She would get ready at her vanity and always take her time. She was naturally beautiful but added just enough makeup to be stunning. She would show me how to apply the base, blush and powder in the most elegant way. She made beauty look so easy. My favorite part was putting on mascara. It brightened up my dark brown eyes and gave me a new look. I still love going to my grandmas and get ready at her vanity.

When I first started wearing eye makeup, I bought a compact with 4 different neon colors of eyeshadow in it, & actually went to school wearing all of them at once! Fortunately, I soon learned the concept of 'less is more' :D

My worst makeup story is when I was little. I wanted to be a zombie for Halloween. I put some makeup on my face to make it green. Well I went to take a bath that night, and it didnt come off! I had to go to school with a green face for a week! LOL I was SO embarrassed.

My sister is the goddess of hair and makeup. For any special event she really knows how to make my eyes pop and no matter how many times I watch her, I can never get the same effect.

Wow, I just had surgery and I am losing my brows and lashes (but the chin hair is cimpletely undisturbed). My current eye make story is not pretty. I would really love this so I can bat my eyelashes again!! Thank you

I didn't start wearing makeup until after my senior year in high school. My sister came along for my senior pictures and said, "You need mascara! You have no eyes!" I didn't have any; neither did she, so I wet my fingers and used water. I bought mascara later that day for the first time. I have eyes now. :)

I have been a makeup fanatic since middle school. Those middle school years didn't go so well, but when I got to high school I think I hit my stride. I was so makeup obsessed that I was crushed by the fact that the makeup counters in the mall wouldn't hire someone under 18! (Great career aspirations, right?)

My favorite makeup tip is applying a light ring of shimmer around the inside of your eye, around the tear duct, to make your eyes look bigger. And I never leave the house without some great mascara!

The only bad eye makeup story was the time that I stuck myself in the eye with a mascara wand.

I walked around the first day with my eye closed and constantly tearing up. The rest of the week it was just red and awful looking.

I have deep set eyes and my eye makeup - especially my mascara - tends to run all over my cheeks - one day I had a new job - put on extra mascara - took the train in the nyc and luckily I stopped in the ladies room first - my cheeks were black. I did finally find one mascara that doesn't make me look like a chipmunk.

I used to work at an explosives factory out in the Mojave. I was the only female secretary there, so I often picked up the loose ends that other people didn't have time for. One day we noticed a rancher's house about a 1/4 mile away was covered in black smoke.

My boss threw me the keys to his Denali (huge white truck!) and asked me to go check it out. I drove out to the fire as fast as I could, and since it was a scorching 106 degrees I was sweating bullets. My eyeliner started running into my eyes making it very hard to see what I was driving through.

Horses were jumping the fence to bolt through the road, the wheat fields were catching fire, and since there were ditches on either side of it I couldn't turn around and had to drive through it nearly blind and screaming my head off.

I managed to get out and not crash, but the tires had kinda melted along with everything else on the truck. It would've been helpful if I wasn't an idiot using Revlon wax eyeliner instead of something, you know, not susceptible to whatever firery goddess who smote me that day.

My worst makeup story ever takes place on the morning I went for an interview for a great company. I, of course, found myself out of mascara and really need it. I ran into the local drug store and bought some of some off brand, they didn't have my regular kind. I had an allergic reaction and all through my interview my eyes were red, watery and my pupils were dilated. I looked high and they even asked me right then if I would do a drug screen. I consented and tried explaining what happened, but I left a bad job for me.

About 2 years ago I decided my eyelash stubbs were enough. So I hedged my bets and decided I was gonna go LONNNNNGGG. Now, there's LONG and there's LONGGGGGG and at the lash counter in a very shi-shi spot in Tokyo, where I was visiting, I was somehow convinced that a LASH GRAFT was perfect for me. A LONNNNGGGGGGG lash graft. For the next four hours, I endured one of the most tedious and tortuous procedures. Lash by lash, my stubs were held, pinched and glued upon to create what looked like sharp tendrils from my eyelash base. I teared and sneezed and held my breath until I got the thousand yen package that left me more blind than a vision. Oh my GOD. It was horrible. For the next month the lashes were the first part of me to enter a room, it seemed. I looked like a venus flytrap transvestite, because I had also been convinced that fushia lips were balance out my lash grafts. What a horrible trip to Japan. The cherry blossom festival was held on my lashes. Every petal seemed to land on my over-done lashes, but I felt compelled to get my "money's worth" so I stuck it out.

I really think the best way to go is to get your lashes to grow to their own length, not build upon nature with nylon. What a disaster. All the pictures of me look like some backup dancer from "Little Shop of Horrors."

Almost five years ago I lost most of my eyelashes & eyebrows to 6 chemo & 38 radiation treatments I needed to battle breast cancer. Today I'm blessed to be cancer-free!
Unfortunately, my lashes haven't come back as well as the hair on my head and I would love to try *Revitalash* out to see if I can stop using fake eyelashes & heavy eyeliner.

**My worst eye makeup story**

I used a new mascara one day that caused an allergic reaction around my eyes. They got all puffy, red and swollen. I had a Christmas Party that I was hosting that night for work. I couldn't put any makeup on for the Party that evening because my eyes were still really swollen and irritated. I couldn't wear my contact lenses either. Needless to say, it was a horrible night. I could barely see anything, and I looked like the creature from the Black Lagoon. LOL! The pictures from our Christmas Party (with me in it) were awful. It is a night that I wish I could forget!

I'm also a big fan of the shimmer powder in the corner/outside of the eyes. Looks great!

After I use my sunscreen I put some bronzer on my face. I always put a bit in each eyelid crease. It makes my blue eyes really pop.

Whoever coined "Age is just a number" was a fool and an idiot. I'm "enjoying" my last year of my 50's. I don't merely need the Revitalash product, it would be a favor to my mirror and the world around me.

My best makeup story (or tip) would have to be when I figured out years ago that I could use clear mascara to tame my unruly eyebrows.

Posted on 06.21.11 at 2:28 PM

My worst turned out to be my best. I used the wrong color eyeshadow on my lid and it was so dark I kept trying to blend it out and it wouldn't. Too late to take it off & try again I just left. Boy when I got to where I was going the color was beautiful and looked great. Now it's my go to color.

My worst make-up story is I stopped wearing mascara because I'm always rubbing my eyes and it wound up all over the place. It was not pretty, believe me.

Posted on 06.21.11 at 3:11 PM

My worst eyelash story is when I was first learning how to apply makeup (around age 13 or so) I went to a sleepover. I put on blush and lip gloss but was too scared to do any eye makeup. My friend's mom goaded me into trying it by yelling 'Without mascara, you look like a FETUS!' I was mortified!! But these days I think it's kinda hilarious.

Posted on 06.21.11 at 3:13 PM

My worst eye shadow moment was a summer day at the beach with all my girl friends. I noticed this guy staring at me and I thought he was flirting so I flirted back. One of my friends interrupted to ask me to be her bathroom buddy. Once there, she showed me that my eye shadow has melted and was all a mess around my eyes. I didn't flirt with that guy again. (thank god for eye shadow primer and water proof eye shadows).

Worst eye make-up story? When I overdid it on blue eye shadow.. never again.

Posted on 06.21.11 at 3:26 PM

As a child, I begged and begged my mother for a make-up kit to complete my looks while playing dress up. When she refused to give in, I took matters into my own hands with the first thing I could find. My best friend and I snuck into my bathroom armed with gumballs of every color; a little water and rubbing and suddently I had blue eyes, pink cheeks, and bright red lips all of which were incredibly sticky of course. But it did look decent enough for my mother to insist on a picture and buy me some sugar-free makeup the next day.

When I was young I tried to put glitter over my eyelids and some got in my eyes---ouch!!!

Posted on 06.21.11 at 3:54 PM

my worst make up story has to do with some wicked sky blue eye shadow I'd bought. i thought it was so pretty! I'd wear it all over my eyelids. I was under the impression that more was better. Well it looked terrible, my bff was nice enough to clue me in on the proper application of such a vibrant hue...fact is she didn't tell me how bad it looked until after a night of clubbing...

Posted on 06.21.11 at 4:25 PM

When I was in college, I was invited to a party that a really cute boy was going to be at. I ended up with pink-eye in the a.m. but had NO idea what it was (I thought maybe I had partied too much the night before!). I tried to put on eye makeup, to no avail, so I went to the party wearing sunglasses and everyone commented on, "Why the sunglasses?" to my dismay. When I took them off and showed them, everyone was SO grossed-out that I don't think I had a chance with Mr. Cutie Pie!!

I could never find the right eye makeup until I found a girl at Bloomingdales to finally put it on me before I bought it. She's taught me so much and opened me to a whole new world of colors.

I like to brush mascara on both sides of my lashes, it really helps to thicken them up!

Posted on 06.21.11 at 6:29 PM

Getting makeup right in the summer can be so hard. Years ago, before all these primers and waterproof formulas were available I took self tanner and did my eyelids and the area under my brow figuring I could just add a little mascara and be ready for anything! What I was was ready to SCREAM! I had blotchy, mostly orange tinted eyes that stood out against my face like a glow in the dark experiment. Thank god for Urban Decay 24 hour waterproof formulas!

Posted on 06.21.11 at 6:50 PM

Worst eye make up experience: In Junior High, a friend who was known for her makeup expertise, thought she would play practical jokes on people by offering to put eye make up on them. I was one to fall for it. She kept saying, "Keep your eyes closed or it will smudge!" When I opened my eyes, I was horrified to find that she had used her Christmas colors set and drew a Christmas tree on my eyelids. Luckily, it was my lunch period, and I rushed to the bathroom to wash it off, but the good ole school's soap powder did little to help. My lunch period was drawing to a close and I fretted having to go to class looking like a clown. I had a moment of inspiration, grabbing my lip balm and it worked in a pinch to remove the eye make-up.

Posted on 06.21.11 at 6:58 PM

Once I didn't realize I had Mascara smudged under my eyes all night. I was acting as though everything was normal until I got into the bathroom and saw black mascara covering my under eye area!

My worst eye makeup experience had to be when I played Lily St. Regis (Rooster's girlfriend) in "Annie." She was quite a tart, so I dressed for the part with huge fake lashes and globs of eye makeup. Now, until the night before the last show, makeup had gone smoothly. When I started to remove all my makup, I pulled off my eyelashes--fake AND real. Mine are almost translucent to begin with, but still!

Posted on 06.21.11 at 7:42 PM

My eyes always look best when my lashes are long and lush. I use waterproof mascara because the formula tends to hold the curl, but it is also difficult to remove and tends to make my lashes dry and fragile. My fantasy is to find a product to help me achieve the look I love without the damage.
I would love to try Revitalash!

My makeup routine is pretty simple: mascara, lipstick and blush.

Once I decided I wanted a stronger eye so I lined my inner eye with black eyeliner. Big mistake. The eyeliner worked its way onto my eye and under my contact lens. Major discomfort and blurry vision all day. I removed my contacts as soon as I returned home and rinsed my eyes like crazy.

My worst eyebrow story and eyelash story is I wanted to have my eyes look fabulous and decied to have extensions put on and have my brows shaped beautifully. I was in the salon for 4 hours. My extensions looked great until the following morning when I wash my face and to my horror, practically every one of my eyelashes had fallen out and I looked horrendous. I panicked and ran to the doctor and lo and behold, I had an allergic reaction to the glue they used on the extensions. Thank goodness they grew back back but it did take about 6 months. Id love to try revitalash.

Well, I don't really have a best or worst eye makeup story. But I would recommend everyone to use water-proof mascara, because I even have trouble with water-proof mascara every once in a while, so I would imagine a non-water proof mascara would be worse.

My worst eye makeup story ... let a friend who was in 'beauty school' do my makeup and hair - when she was done my bangs looked like Lloyd Christmas (Jim Carrey) from the movie dumb and dumber and my eye makeup looked like Ozzy Osbourne. At least with some effort the eye makeup went away, the bang took almost a month to get to the point where I could do anything with them. Lesson learned, no matter how good the friend, do NOT let them practice on you.

Whenever I am running late and do not have to apply my eyeshadow, mascara, etc. my go to item is my black eyeliner. As it gives me that pop without much effort at all. I often find I end up applying it in all the wrong places at all the wrong times. This particular instance I was applying my eyeliner on the subway train and we came to a startling halt.I ended up drawing a 6 inch line down the right side of my face. To top it off it was waterproof eyeliner which didn't help as I struggled to wipe the mess off of me all while rushing to work at the same time. Good times.

My funniest stories always end up with the various places I find my fake eyelashes after a night out drinking. The best was finding them on the bf's bare booty!

I've never really known how to play with color in my eyeshadows, but recently I have been going out on a limb with the Buxom line of cream shadows. They have crazy color and I love them so much, I just go for it. And so far, no disasters. Nothing runway worthy, but it's been alot of fun, and I still leave the house with it on! :)

Body butter and a q-tip is a great way to take off eye makeup. Using moisture rich body butter helps to keep the skin around your eyes from getting dried out from chemical or liquid removers.

Also, when putting eyeshadows on, use a dab of regular chapstick on your eye lid first, then apply eyeshadow. It makes the color pop more brightly and keeps it from smudging or moving all day long.

Worst! I tried a new mascara that was supposed to wrap around my lashes making them thicker and longer - it wouldn't come off, not for anything! I lost so many lashes in the attempt to remove it, there is a section on one eye that is still quite short. So for job interviews, like now, I use a few false lashes in place there. Live and learn!

On Tuesday, I had spent the day in the hospital and when I got home, I thought I had 4 minutes to enter this contest. I didn't realize this contest lasted for a week so I was so panicked, it's hard to understand what I said in my comment. So, I would like my former comment, which is posted above but makes no sense, wiped out so I can properly try to express what I wanted to say. My worst eye make up story is this: I wanted to look very special for a special event coming up, where family and friends I haven't seen in a long time would all be gathered. I've never had long gorgeous eyelashes and since my hair is red, it's not easy the seeing whatever lashed I do have so I decided to have my eyebrows shaped and waxed and extensions put on my eyelashes. I spent so much time in the salon, something felt wrong but when I questioned the man who was putting on the extensions, he kept on telling me to relax and that I would look fabulous when he was done. After what seemed like hours, he was finally done and yes, the eyelashes did look fabulous although they felt a bit tight. It also felt like I had something in my eyes, something I just wanted to wipe away. He told me not to touch the eyelashes, not to wash my face until the following morning and everything should be perfect. I listened to his advice so when I awoke the following morning and the tightness I had felt the night before had disappeared, I couldn't wait to see how they looked. When I went into the bathroom and got my eyes adjusted to the light, I was horrified when I noticed that practically all my eyelashes were gone. I immediately went to the dermatologist who told me I had an allergic reaction to the glue. That in combination with the sheer amount of volume of eyelashes the clinician had put on caused my eyelashes to fall out. He gave me some medication and said that the eyelashes SHOULD grow back, although he made no promises. It took about 6 months but yes, they finally did grow back, lucky for me. We all take these treatments like eyelash extensions so lightly but so many bad things can go wrong even with the best clinicians and best products. I've been dying to win revitalash in every competition you run because I have tried this product when it first came on the market and it did produce incredible results. However because of the price, I haven't been able to continue with it. This product is, in my opinion, the best eyelash serum ever created and I would love the opportunity to win theses products in this contest. Good luck to all and thank you to Beauty Undercover, Revitalash and Outlash for making this giveaway possible.

I've been pretty lucky with makeup experiences, I guess, minus the usual oh-god-what-was-I-thinking looks back at some of the makeup I tried in middle school. (Hey, I was a novice.) Actually my worst experience was going to a store that shall remain nameless, where they offered to give me a test run on some new products (also nameless). Well, I have rather dramatic bone structure, and a little goes a long way, if you know what I mean. It was also 11 in the morning. I thought I looked like a zombie hooker when they held the mirror up for me... but of course I tried to be nice and said I liked it and I'd think about buying the products. Once I got outside I went at myself with wet wipes. Yikes!

My eyelashes are so sparse they are hardly noticeable even with MANY coats of mascara and turning side ways holding a magnifying glass to them in full light. SERIOUSLY….. I have to say that I am very self conscious about being seen with out make up! I didn’t plan on going out one day so I just gave my face a break from make up and moisturized well and that was all just fine till I received a call from the hospital that my son was in an accident and of course I went running out the door. It wasn’t until several people had ask me if I was OK, and after I had found out that my son was ok and would be fine that I went to the bathroom and took a look in the mirror and realized I was naked faced.!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAARG! I do look ill and pale without make up. So my worst make up experience was a NO make up experience.

the first makeup that my mom let me wear was clear mascara. i felt so old and remember being so excited that my mom bought it for me. still to this day mascara is my number one favorite makeup. if i could pick one thing to use for the rest of my life, that would be it!

Worst eye make up story was the first time I used a black eye liner and ended up putting too much and since i wanted to go for the dramatic affect I put it around my whole eye. I ended up looking like a panda who just got into a fight and lost.

My best eye make up tip? Use three colors of eye shad all along the same color line. Place the lightest, shimmeriest color under your brow bone, the middle color over the rest of your eyelid, and use the darkest (or brightest) color along the crease of your eyelid. This will give your eye definition and really make your peepers pop!

My worst eye makeup story? When I had a severe allergic reaction to a new mascara, and my eye swelled shut.

RevitaLash and RevitaBrow are the best new beauty formulas. Can anyone think of anything better? Thank you, Outblush, for a chance to win them both. Good luck everyone!!!
