Doubtblush: Freddy Studded Lace-Ups

You may have noticed that we're hardly perpetual rays of sunshine around here, but even so, we seem to spend a lot of our time enthusing about one gewgaw or another. Doubtblush exists to make it clear that we do not, in fact, like everything.

Some things are better off left on the catwalk....and the Freddy Studded Lace-Ups ($995) are certainly one of them! We could see these looking kinda cool on a 6' model strutting her stuff in denim booty shorts and a crisp white button down with fabulous jewelry, but we really don't see them translating to actual fashion on the streets....of even the hippest cities. These classic lace-up shoes consist of studded leather and slick patent leather with a stacked heel. And yes, they are from incredible shoe designer Christian Louboutin, but the only mark he left is his signature red sole.
