Ahhh, good weather means packing up the boots and putting on the flats! We've been coveting this white and black-tipped pair of (1) Lanvin Ballerina Flats ($555), but our pocketbooks have given us a firm, "NO." Not to be deterred, we set out to find a pair or two that would work with Mr. Pocketbook and win him over.
The (2) French Sole Certain Ballerina Flat ($155) is closer to our price range (and maybe even cuter thanks to the little bow!). It has a leather upper like the Lanvin flat, but also has a sturdier insole. But the (3) Luiza Barcelos Round-Toe Flat ($66, on sale) is even more affordable. It also has a leather upper, for a great, pliable shape once it molds to our feet. Plus, it's 45 percent off the original price of $120. Can't beat that!
And, as always, if you've got something you love that's out of your reach, email us and we'll find you some more budget-friendly lookalikes for a future Aspire/Acquire feature!

There is actually a version at GAP which is basically identical to the Lanvin flats, they are on sale & may be out of some sizes, but the $40 price tag is a bargain compared to Lanvin!
Good luck: http://www.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=34759&vid=1&pid=818171&scid=818171002
