OMG! THAT IS THE WORST THING YOU CAN DO TO YOUR JEWELRY! Think what those acid-strong soaps do to your lovely wine glasses?? It will DESTROY your jewelry! This deserves a HUGE Doubtblush!

I just happened to see this remark from Pamela, and I decided, since I am the inventor of this product, to address the comments that were made. I am a second generation bench jeweler with over 40 years of experience. I design, repair, and manufacture fine jewelry. I own a small retail jewelry store, and do all of the repairs myself, along with doing a lot of custom work. I know what IS and what ISN'T safe when it comes to cleaning fine jewelry. Jeweler in the Dishwasher is an EXTREMELY safe method for cleaning fine jewelry. There are no acid strong soaps involved, and if there were acid strong soaps, could you explain how it would hurt the gold, or platinum, or the diamonds? Do you have any idea what goes into working on fine jewelry? Acids are used, chemicals are used, torches are used. Having a ring SOAK in hot water with a bit of dishwasher detergent mixed in, isn't going to hurt it. I would gladly answer any questions that you may still have.
