BHLDN Duchess Lace Cape
Ladies, this is what we would call an aspiration piece. Truthfully, it's pricy but not outrageously expensive, but we know damn well that we would have no business buying this Duchess Lace Cape ($610). First off, we don't even have the fashion balls to wear the simple grey wool cape that's been in our closet since we bought it last season. Then you get into the list of places we would have to wear this cape.... and we come up empty handed. All we can do is beg you, dear reader who is having a winter wedding, to purchase this beauty and send us a photo of this magical article of outerwear in real life.
