EDITOR CHALLENGE: Complete H-to-T Outfits under $250 from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale
We all love a good sale, but most of us tend to think in terms of snapping up individual pieces we've just GOT to have because they're so cute and so on sale... But then we get our buys home, and realize we don't have anything to wear with that crazy-print skirt or those neon pink stiletto pumps. That's why we challenged two Outblush editors, Trajano and Janetor, to shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and find a complete outfit (clothes, shoes, and accessories) for under $250. Janetor: I'm a strictly casual gal, so I love this Pleione Roll-Sleeve Tunic ($44.90 on sale) in Teal, paired with KUT from the Kloth Skinny Jeans ($45.90 on sale), Franco Sarto Artist Collection 'Jackson' Flats ($59.90 on sale), a Another Line 'Reversed Obi' Faux Leather Stretch Belt in Black, ($29.90 on sale) and finally, Cara Couture Ultra Long Linear Knot Earrings in Hematite ($27.90 on sale). It's polished, classic but still trendy, and all the pieces are ones I could wear with other stuff in my closet. I'd wear it out to brunch with my gal pals, or even to work on Casual Friday.
Trajano: I'll take any excuse I can to dress up, so my outfit consists of this Hinge Bubble Hem Silk Blouse in Rose-Shadow ($58.90 on sale), with a Halogen Seamed Pencil Skirt in Dark Amethyst ($45.90 on sale), and Nordstrom Scallop Stripe Tights in Smoky Lilac ($8.90 on sale).
