Shirtdresses are a fall fashion favorite, and we've had a hard time picking out just one or two for our own closets. We're pretty sure the Ruffle-Skirted Shirtdress ($268) by BCBG Max Azria will be making the cut. It's an irresistible combination of military-inspired design and feminine flounce. The pleated skirt and contrasting belt add plenty of detail, making this a no-brainer outfit. Throw on heels and you're good to go!

These are still in style? I have this dress but in khaki: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=140446376594&rvr_id=143522794456&crlp=1_263602_263622&UA=%3F*I8&GUID=364e597312b0a0aad321b0b1ff165deb&itemid=140446376594&ff4=263602_263622 and I haven't had a chance to wear it yet... Am I good to wear it?
One Ring to Rule Them All
Yeah, why not? For the fall, you can add some dark or patterned tights with heeled mary janes and a sweater. Maybe lose the belt pictured (ew, imho), and use a belt that matches your tights or shoes. If you want to go a little bit retro New Look, you could put a LIGHT crinoline underneath the skirt to create volume.

Pretty sure Sarah Walker was wearing this in the season premiere of Chuck!
