Designer Looks for Less: Sales & Serious Steals from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale
Designer sales = fabulous. The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale = beyond amazing. But some of us don't have the budget for even seriously-on-sale designer clothes, right ladies? Well, that's where our Designer Looks For Less challenge comes in. We found two similar ensembles from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, one for those of you who just got a quarterly bonus at work, and one for the rest of us.
The Designer Look: We're digging the 60's-inspired Mad Men overtones of this Black Halo 'Jackie' Belted Garbadine Sheath Dress in Peacock ($249.90 on sale) - it follows your curves just so, and is perfect for you high-rolling executive types needing a work-to-date night dress. (Tip: pull your hair up during the day with neutral makeup, then take your hair down & shake it up and add red lips for evening.) Add classic Stuart Weitzman 'Palace' Platform Pumps in black ($199.90 on sale), and a Nadri 'Hammered Pave' Link Bracelet ($84.90 on sale), and you've got an outfit that screams "I am a confident, gorgeous corporate goddess!"
The Look for Less: For about a third of the price, this Calvin Klein 'Stretch Luxe' Twist Neck Sheath Dress in Purple Heather ($78.90 on sale), features a similar asymmetrical twist neckline and flattering shaped seams. Slip on these Enzo Angiolini 'Sully' Platform Pumps in black ($59.90 on sale), and a Nordstrom Sequin Textured Status Link Bracelet in silver ($31.90 on sale). So similar, but so much easier on the wallet!

Ok so I've seen a few of these Nordstrom's sponsored ads, but this is definitely the best. You got the look almost perfect and featured a big enough $ difference to make it worth while ... love it, more of these please!!
