Doubtblush: Zero + Maria Cornejo IQ Dress
They say great taste is timeless - but then again, so is bad taste. Despite the time we spend looking for stuff to make you salivate with desire, occasionally we stumble upon things that elicit a very different oral reaction. Sometimes we shudder and move on, and then there are times that the object in question is just too awful to keep to ourselves, so we bring it to you as a Doubtblush.
Things we love: books, fashion, and even the occasional subtle combination of the two. Things that are just plain ugly: the Zero + Maria Cornejo IQ Dress ($850). First, it doesn't take much of an IQ to see that the price tag on this designer piece is hardly worth the shapeless sack passing as high fashion. And second, us bookish types are trying to repel the stereotype that we're dunces at design--we hardly need to perpetuate the image that having our noses stuck in a book means we don't come up for air and toss on something tasteful and cute. This dress certainly is lacking in both those departments!
