Doubtblush: Pity the Victorian Puppy Man
You may have noticed that we're hardly perpetual rays of sunshine around here, but even so, we seem to spend a lot of our time enthusing about one gewgaw or another. Doubtblush exists to make it clear that we do not, in fact, like everything.
We can't decide whether to "Awww," or cringe at the Pity the Victorian Puppy Man ($37). At eleven inches tall, this porcelain "man" dressed in Victorian garb stands erect and proud, and with the head of a puppy? We can't deny the artistry and craft behind these pieces, however, we can't quite figure out how it would fit in to our current design scheme.
