Doubtblush: Map Plates
You may have noticed that we're hardly perpetual rays of sunshine around here, but even so, we seem to spend a lot of our time enthusing about one gewgaw or another. Doubtblush exists to make it clear that we do not, in fact, like everything.
Map plates ($15) might be a cute idea if the plates were actually round, like plates are meant to be. We might venture so far as square, but plates that come in the shapes of actual countries? Wethinks this kitsch has gone too far. How would one even begin to stack them in the cupboard, let alone in the dishwasher? A reviewer even mentions that the maps are missing major cities...geographical FAIL.
