This classic 60s style Pan Am Messenger Bag ($100) still brings back sweet memories, and it's still as glamorous today as it was back in the day. Don't let the throwback look fool you - Whether it's a kindle, Nintendo DS, or a regular ol' laptop we're toting, modern technology is held safe in this carrying case's padded and zippered compartments.
Believe it or not, we didn't pick this baby up on our short-lived stint as an extra on the Catch Me if You Can set, riding shotgun to Leo. It's actually based on real items, Pan Am and otherwise, from the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum collection. In fact, a large part of the collection is period aviation fashion (we're talking accessories and entire ensembles, ladies). Nice, Smithsonian. now we'll be trying to choose between pilot and wingman all night.
