Dare to be different with the Countess Olenska Earrings ($85). A fine example of work by Dawn Estrin of Bijou Graphique, we're enamored by her playful color photomontage framed by finely incised sterling silver and crystal embellishment. Simply amazing, and perfect for when we're feeling coy but sultry.
Those of us who aren't literary buffs are probably wondering "who's Countess Olenska?" We could go into an entire character analysis, but just know that she was the impossible love interest of the protagonist, Newland Archer, in Edith Wharton's 1920 novel, The Age of Innocence. The story of a marriage in the making in 1870s upper class New York City won the Pulitzer prize in 1921.
