Culture Club: Alexis Bittar Miss Havisham Small Double Link Necklace
We're always looking for subtle, unique jewelry--perfect for sprucing up our office attire. The Miss Havisham Small Double Link Necklace ($96, on sale) by Alexis Bittar is one of those pieces. We're not sure what the wavy oval contrast links have to do with Miss Havisham, but we don't really care, either. This necklace is too fun to pass up.
Once scorned in love, Charles Dickens' Miss Havisham withers away into a crazy old lady who raises the beautiful Estella to scorn her own would-be lovers. Poor Pip, Great Expectations narrator and protagonist, pines after Estella who refuses him time and again--thanks to the cold advice and upbringing she's had from Miss Havisham.
