Our brother once had a lady friend who had real texture issues. She couldn't eat creamed corn (ew, who can?), couldn't touch wet coffee grounds, and couldn't use liquid bath soap. Instead, she bathed with a washcloth and a River Soap Company Geranium Rose Body Bar ($5). She said that this vegetable-based soap did just as good a job as those "grossly" bubbly body washes sold in drugstores. We took her word for it and, we've got to say, she might have been on to something. We really liked the scent but appreciated that we didn't walk out of the shower smelling totally like an English garden. And the almond oil infused in this soap ranks up there with argan oil in the moisturizing department. We wouldn't use it every day, but for those extremely hot and humid evenings, this would be welcome relief from the suffocating weight of heavier cream washes.
