The cost of a product does not always dictate its performance. Some expensive nail lacquers flake and fall flat the moment they dry. And Jesse's Girl Wham Bam ($4) has the staying power and gusto we'd expect from an eighteen-dollar bottle! Wham Bam is a bodacious red shade that pops on the nail just as much as it does in the bottle. The first nail dries before we even finish painting the tenth finger, a feature we appreciate more than any other. And without a top coat, we went a full two days before a single chip appeared. Even then, we were rearranging the contents of our storage unit, and basically asking for damage to be done. With a top coat, we saw similar results. But that says something about our clear coat, not Jesse's Girl. It lays down flat, never ridges up, and lasts longer than other polishes in its price range or higher. For a quick mani/pedi, we're happy to be Jesse's Girl.
