Those of you with an interest in the history of cosmetics should know that when Revlon originally launched its Fire & Ice red for lips and nails in 1952, it was one of the great advertising blitzes of all time - and the shade remained a go-to red for many, many women for decades. And then it disappeared. We mourn the nail polish (it was perfect), but you don't have to miss out on the re-release of the lipstick - pick up a retro-logo tube ($8) and hang onto it for your exceptionally daring days.
