You get on Outbush and see all these gorgeous makeup palettes and wonder aloud "How on earth can I afford to eat, drink, and look good at the same time? All of this makeup costs more than my wine habit." Well, pour yourself a goblet and settle into the e.l.f. Studio 100-Piece Eyeshadow Palette ($10 on sale). The packaging isn't fantastic but for $10 you can suck it up and store this in a safe, flat place so as to not break the plastic housing. If you want super intense color, apply a primer. But if what you want is light, easy to apply color for less than the cost of a prize racehorse, then this box of beauty is yours.

Elle
As a poor, struggling college student, I can definitely relate to the makeup price woes. I bought the winter version of this elf eyeshadow mega-palette for $5 when it was on sale -- yes, I'm that poor. But I was delightfully surprised by the quality for such a low cost. By no means high end, but certainly passable.
