Hana Professional Ceramic Flat Iron

Okay, we confess to being a little apprehensive upon receiving this Professional Ceramic Flat Iron from Hana ($130). Our prior hair straightening experiences have been mixed at best, taking forever and leaving us with tresses as shiny as a sandwich baggie, but with about as much character and far less volume. After a painless round with our new toy, we had straight hair that looked astonishingly natural for the first time ever. Maybe not 1960's-head-on-the-ironing-board straight hair, but nice, plausible, genetic-looking straight hair. We dig the very quick warm-up, the evenly-heating tourmaline/ceramic plates, the included rubber mat and the reasonable price. The clincher? We didn't burn anything.
